NYC Lifeguard Station
New York City, New York
In the aftermath of Superstorm Sandy, New York's beaches suffered damage to many structures. The solution was 37 permanent modular structures, spread throughout 15 sites in the New York City area.
These modular buildings, built to withstand storms, feature the Selux M125 and Survivor. The Selux M125 and Survivor were chosen for their high efficiency, versatility, and high quality. Both luminaires are waterproof, impact and vandal resistant. They are economical, aesthetically interesting, and built to survive the toughest weather conditions.
