Denver International Airport
Denver, Colorado
Denver International Airport (DEN) is not only the 18th busiest airport in the world, it is also one of the most environmentally responsible airports in the world. The Terminal Redevelopment Program was launched in 2011 to increase the overall passenger and aircraft handling capacity at the airport. In 2014, DEN retrofitted their lights with energy-efficient LED fixtures. “By replacing the existing lights with energy-efficient LED lights, we will reduce Denver International Airport’s energy consumption and save a substantial amount of money over time,” said Kim Day, Denver’s Manager of Aviations.
The Selux Ritorno Round Asymmetric was used for its unique use of light. It provides an indirect shade that creates uniformity and virtually shadowless illumination with extremely low glare.
